It’s publishing day for my latest book, Molly!

The release day for Molly REALLY snuck up on me! I can’t believe how fast it came! But at the same time I’m so excited for this book to be out and available for anyone to read. If you give it a try, I hope you love it! :)

I have some updates below, but first, to those of you who signed up to ARC read for me, thank you again so much! The reviews have been amazing so far and I don’t know how to say a big enough thank you. If you haven’t reviewed yet, it would be a huge help to me if you could leave your honest opinion about the book on Goodreads, Amazon, and anywhere else you read books! If you are able to leave a review on Amazon along with your favorite review platforms, that would be a massive help, as Amazon is the most difficult place to get reviews posted. These reviews help other people find my books and help them decide whether or not they’d like to read them. Writing one review may not seem like much, but it goes such a long way to help me out as an independent author. You’re literally making my dreams come true! :) Thank you again!

Now that Molly is out, you can grab a paperback or ebook from Amazon. It’s also on Kindle Unlimited, so if you’ve got a subscription, check it out! :)

I also have a surprise! The ebook for Dear Patience, Sincerely Lucy is free for the entirety of this weekend! From now until Sunday you can snag a copy for free, so if you haven’t read it yet, or if you have read it and have book loving friends who you think would like it, be sure to download your copy and tell your friends to download it, too! :)

Once again, I sort of dropped off the face of the earth on social media leading up to Molly’s release date, which is the opposite strategy everyone says to adopt. I’m absolutely terrible at keeping up with posting things online. However, I have a good reason: I was busy at work on more books!

Since May 2024 I’ve been working on writing the first draft of a book I’m very excited about. I worked on it in bursts while also writing, editing, and prepping Molly and promoting my other books. As of last week, I finally finished the first draft! It’s my longest book to date at 124,000 words, and it’s also ended up being the story with the most complexity and twists thrown in (in a good way!). By the time I’d finished the first draft I was surprised just how emotionally invested I was compared to the other books I’ve written. This story was a lot more difficult for me to write, but it ended up being everything I was hoping for. I still have to “clean out the cringe” but I’ll take a bit of a break from that story before jumping back in to edit. More on that book in the future!

I also managed to finish up the outline of the next book I’ll be working on just a couple days ago, and I’m hoping to start drafting it next week. At this point, if I don’t have a book I’m actively working on writing, I feel weird, lol!

In more news about Molly, the incredible @muniluni_idk (her IG handle), the artist who made the illustration of Scott and Lucy from Dear Patience, Sincerely Lucy, is currently working on an illustration of Claire and Molly, and I couldn’t be more excited! She is so crazy talented!

All that to say, thank you all so much for your support and encouragement. It means more than I can ever tell you that you spend some of your time reading my books, and, for many of you, sharing them with others. I’ve wanted to write ever since I can remember, and the more I write, the more I fall in love with it. I will continue to write the best stories I can think of to the very best of my ability. And hopefully my books will make you smile! Thank you for sticking around! :)
