Fog Crest is here! 🎉

Fog Crest is officially out as of today!

When Shadows of Memory released, I couldn’t believe I had a book out in the world for anyone to just pick up and read if they wanted. Now, I can’t believe I have two out! If you give either of them a chance, I hope you love them, and I thank you so much for your support. Your reviews, downloads, purchases, and even Instagram dm’s all mean SO MUCH to me, way more than I know how to say. Writing was always my dream, even if it took me awhile to get started, and every one of you who’s given my books a chance and taken the time to reach out are all helping make my dream come true. THANK YOU!

When I finished the first draft of Fog Crest, I was in serious doubt about whether or not I’d be able to get the story to a place I was happy with. Something about it just wasn’t totally hitting home with me, but I couldn’t figure out what. I sent it off to my editor (and friend!), Catalina, and she had the perfect suggestion for fleshing out the story and characters. So, after getting her feedback, I took Fog Crest back to the “workshop,” ie, my kitchen table, and added about 12,000 words worth of flashbacks and a few additional scenes. Those simple changes made a world of a difference, and improved the story immensely, turning it into the book I so wanted it to be. All that to say, if you’re writing a book, make sure you have a good editor, because they’re life savers!

I hope you’ll give Fog Crest a go! Happy reading! :)

PS: Here’s the book blurb, in case you missed it!

No one knows what’s going on in Fog Crest.

The coastal town has been around for as long as anyone can remember. But, while the world moves forward, Fog Crest remains unchanged, as if it’s frozen in time. The locals don’t seem to notice or care, and everything continues as normal. That is, until an unexpected visitor shows up.

Natalia Westbrook arrives in Fog Crest to escape her problems. Little does she know she ran from one mess into another.

To Josie Jennings, Fog Crest is like a second home. She visits every year, and every year it’s exactly the same. Except this year, there’s one major difference: her family is missing.

As the behavior of the townspeople grows increasingly suspicious, Natalia and Josie must work together to discover the secrets of Fog Crest and its residents.

How do you save people from destroying themselves?
